How to change loading image

Last updated

If you want to change the loading image with a custom one, perform these steps:

  • First you should find a new image which will be shown during Ecwid's loading. We suggest using the ajaxload.info site to generate the necessary image.
  • Upload the necessary loading image to your site.
  • Add the following code to your site`s CSS styles:
.ecwid-loadingIndicator .loader.loader-mixed {
display: none !important;
}

#ecwid_loading_indicator {
background: url(LINK_TO_IMAGE) center center no-repeat !important;
}

Replace LINK_TO_IMAGE with the actual URL of your uploaded loading image.

Example

.ecwid-loadingIndicator .loader.loader-mixed {
display: none !important;
}

#ecwid_loading_indicator {
background: url(http://dreamuniverse.ru/somescripts/ajax-loader.gif) center center no-repeat !important;
}

In most cases, when you alter any Ecwid element, you should add a CSS code to your Ecwid CSS theme. In this particular case the CSS code should be applied as soon as Ecwid starts to load, so you must add it to your site's CSS before the Ecwid integration code.
