Paywise is a payment platform for e-Commerce and payment collections in Trinidad and Tobago. The services include payment processing for online transactions and payment collections for businesses without a website. You can enable Paywise to accept online payments in your Ecwid storefront.

Paywise has two modes: "Live" to receive real transactions and "Sandbox" for test purposes. This article will guide you through setting up Paywise payment method in both modes.

How to setup Sandbox account?

Setup on Paywise side

  1. ​​Register new Sandbox account here: http://sandbox.paywise.co 
  2. Choose "Merchant" account type to accept payments
  3. Login to your sandbox account and go to "Modify account" page
  4. Fill in all required fields, like "Bank Name", "Account name", "Branch" and "Account Number" and click "Submit" button
  5. Once all the required information will be entered and saved, two new fields will appear on "Modify User Information" page

  6. Enter link to the page, where your store is installed in Facebook/ECWID Store URL field and your store ID in ECWID Store ID field and save changes
  7. Get back to home page of your Paywise account and copy User PIN code

Setup of Ecwid control panel

  1. Go to Ecwid control panel → System Settings → Payment
  2. Click to any unused payment method to set the name for it​
  3. Click "Change" link in "Payment processor" column next to selected payment method and choose "Credit Card: Authorise.Net SIM" from the list
  4. Fill in credentials for Authorize.Net SIM payment method in appeared popup window
    • In "API Login Id" fields enter User PIN (point #7 of instruction)
    • "Trabsaction Key" is simply a string of random characters. There is no prescribed value for the field.
    • Leave "MD5 Hash Value" field empty
    • Choose "Authorize and Capture" value in "Transaction Type" select box
    • Click on "Advanced settings" and change the "Endpoint URL" to "http://sandbox.paywise.co/bridge/payway_authorize.php"
  5. Make sure that new payment method is enabled and save changes
  6. You're done!

How to setup Live account?

Setup on Paywise side

  1. ​​Register new Live account here: http://paywise.co 
  2. Choose "Merchant" account type to accept payments
  3. Login to your sandbox account and go to "Modify account" page
  4. Fill in all required fields, like "Bank Name", "Account name", "Branch" and "Account Number" and click "Submit" button
  5. Once all the required information will be entered and saved, two new fields will appear on "Modify User Information" page
