Adding stickers to a product section on Instant Site
Stickers are bright labels that appear on your site to catch visitors’ attention. Stickers can highlight special information, like "New," "Sale," "Best Seller," or "Limited Offer."
In the Instant Site editor, you can add a sticker to a specific product catalog section that showcases your products. You can change the default text on a sticker to a custom one. Each product catalog section can contain only one sticker.
Adding a sticker to a product section
Stickers are available for all the catalog sections, except the Featured Category. To use stickers, add one of the catalog sections to your site.
To add a sticker to a section:
- From your Ecwid admin, go to Website → Edit Site.
- In the Page dropdown at the top, select the page where you want to add the section with a sticker.
- Click Add Section.
- In the left-hand side menu, scroll down to Products and select one of the product catalog sections:
- Click Promotional sticker → Add sticker and select a sticker.
- (optional) In the Title field, enter your custom title for the sticker.
- (optional) Switch to the Design tab and click Promotional sticker to adjust the section’s layout and look.
- Click Publish.
That’s it. Now your section will have a sticker:
Customizing a sticker in a product section
To better match your website look, you can adjust a sticker on the product catalog section by changing its wording and its location in the section.
To customize a sticker:
- From your Ecwid admin, go to Website → Edit Site.
- In the Page dropdown at the top, select the page where the product catalog section with a sticker is located.
- In the Homepage Sections list, select your section.
- To change the sticker's wording, click Promotional sticker and specify text in the Title field.
- To change the sticker’s location, switch to the Design tab, click Promotional sticker and choose the desired location in the Sticker Position dropdown.
- Click Publish.
Removing a sticker from a product section
You can remove a sticker from the product catalog section, leaving the section to showcase your products only.
To remove a sticker from a product catalog section:
- From your Ecwid admin, go to Website → Edit Site.
- In the Page dropdown at the top, select the page where the product catalog section is located.
- In the Homepage Sections list, select your section.
- Click Delete Sticker:
- Click Publish.
