Adding contacts to Instant Site header
A header is the section at the top of your website where you can add different elements to help visitors navigate your site. In your Instant Site, you can add your phone number and/or email to make it easier for customers to reach out to you.
This article is for the latest version of Instant Site. The old Instant Site version does not support customizing the header. Not sure which version you're using? Find out how to distinguish Instant Site versions and how to update to the latest one.
Adding contacts to the Instant Site header
The header on your Instant Site has several pre-designed layouts, but only some support adding contacts. To include contacts in the site header, you first need to choose a layout that supports that option.
To add contact to the header of your Instant Site:
- From your Ecwid admin, go to Website and click Edit Site.
- In the menu on the left, click Header & Menu.
- Click Contact Information.
If you don’t see the Contact Information button, try to choose another header layout on the Design tab. - In the Phone field, specify your phone number.
- In the Email field, specify your email.
- Click Publish.
Removing contacts from the Instant Site header
To remove contacts from the header of your Instant Site:
- From your Ecwid admin, go to Website and click Edit Site.
- In the menu on the left, click Header & Menu.
- Click Contact Information.
- Remove the phone or email from the corresponding fields.
- Click Publish.
