Downloading invoices (printable orders) as PDF files
Providing your customers with invoices for their purchases is a must in many countries. Invoicing is available to you out of the box with all Ecwid subscription tiers.
All your buyers can download their invoices as PDF files from Thank you for your order page when they complete their purchase. Customers can also receive an invoice attached to the Order Confirmation email. You can view your customers’ invoices too in your Ecwid admin panel, save them for your records or resend them to your clients.

Downloading invoices from Thank you for your order page
When a customer completes an order in your online store, they land on Thank you for your order page:
To download an invoice from this page:
- Click Print order.
- To save the invoice as a PDF file on your device, click Save:
- To print the invoice on paper, call the Print dialog box (Ctrl+P for Windows, ⌥⌘P for Mac) and click Print.
Downloading invoices from Order Confirmation email
After purchasing in your store, your customers get their invoice attached to the Order Confirmation email if the Attach invoices to Order сonfirmation email option is enabled in your Ecwid admin (in Settings → Notifications).
To save an invoice from this email:
- Download the attached invoice to your device.
- Open the HTML-invoice in your browser.
- Call the Print dialog box (Ctrl+P for Windows, ⌥⌘P for Mac) and select Save as PDF or Print to get a paper copy:

If you need to resend an invoice to your customer or save it for your records, you can get it in your Ecwid admin panel:
- Go to My Sales → Orders and find the necessary order in the list.
- Click Print Order:
- To save the invoice as a PDF file on your device, click Save:
- To print the invoice on paper, call the Print dialog box (Ctrl+P for Windows, ⌥⌘P for Mac) and click Print.
