Selling on Zoho Sites with Ecwid
Zoho Sites is a platform for creating a website. To start selling on your website, you can add an Ecwid store to it. Adding an Ecwid store or a single product is easy—no technical skills are required.
Ecwid is an online solution that helps you easily create an online store disregarding your technical skills. Once you sign up for Ecwid, you can add products, online and manual payment methods, and connect to most popular shipping services. You can also start selling on social media.
Adding Ecwid store to Zoho Sites
To embed an online store to a site created with Zoho Sites, you will need to add an integration code to your site. If you want to add a specific product, use a Buy Button instead.
To add Ecwid store to your Zoho site:
- From your Ecwid admin, go to the Sales channels page.
- Scroll down and click Pick Platform → Other platforms and sitebuilders.
- Click Copy code to clipboard.
- Open your Zoho site editor. Hover the cursor over the page and click + Add Section where you want to add your store.
- Click Elements and choose Code Snippet. Enter the code from your Ecwid admin to the Paste Your Code field. In the Code Name field, enter the name to this code. For example, my store.
- Click Preview or Publish to see how the store looks embedded to your site.
That’s it. You can add new products, track orders, change storefront design, and manage the store from your Ecwid dashboard.
Adding a single product to Zoho Sites
To start selling on your Zoho site, you don't have to add the whole store right away. Instead, you can add a single product. In Ecwid, you can add that product in the form of a Buy Button. The Buy Button is a product card or just a button that can be added to any page of the site. When a customer clicks on the button, they proceed to checkout.
To add the Buy Button to your Zoho website:
- Open your Ecwid admin and go to the Sales channels page.
- Scroll down and click Buy buttons.
- Click Pick products and choose a product from your catalog that you want to add to your site.
- Choose the button layout and customize its look.
- Click Generate Code, then click Copy Code.
- Go to your Webnode website editor and choose where you want to add the button.
- Hover the cursor over the page and click the + icon.
- Choose HTML. Enter HTML code from your Ecwid admin and save.
- Click Publish.
That’s it. The product card with your product has been added to the webpage. When a visitor clicks the Buy Button, they will add the product to the cart and proceed to checkout.
