Account owner name

When you register an Ecwid account, along with email and password you are asked to specify your full name. Ecwid uses this name in greetings when contacting you by email. Also, this name is shared with the support team when you contact them.

If you need to update your store name that is displayed in email notifications and invoices that your customers receive, in your Ecwid admin, go to Settings → General → Store profile and update the Store name.

If you took over a business from another person or company, you can update the information about the account owner in your Ecwid account settings.

To update the profile name:

  1. Log in to your Ecwid admin and go to My Profile → Profile.
  2. In the Edit profile block, click Change:


  3. In the Name field, enter your name:


  4. Click Save.
