Account owner name

When you register Ecwid account, along with email and password you are asked to specify your full name. Ecwid use this name in greetings when contacting you by email to send your store metrics, important news and other notifications. Also, based on this name the community username is created that is displayed in Ecwid forums when you post there.

If you need to update your store name that is displayed in email notifications and invoices that your customers receive, in your Ecwid admin, go to Settings → General → Store profile and update the Store Name.

If you took over a business from another person or a company, you can update the information about the account owner in your Ecwid account settings.

To update the profile name and the community username:

  1. Log in to your Ecwid admin, go to My Profile → Profile
  2. In the Profile name and credentials section edit Your name and Community username:
