Selling on Tilda with Ecwid

Tilda is a website builder where you can add your online store to start selling online. You can quickly add your Ecwid online store either by the integration code and with ready-made widgets. You can also choose to add the whole store, specific category, or a product.

Ecwid is an online solution that helps you create an online store disregarding your technical skills. Once you sign up, you can add products, online and offline payment methods, and connect to most popular shipping services. You can embed the whole store or choose specific products to add to your site.

To add product catalog on Tilda website, you need to subscribe to one of Tilda paid plans.

Adding store to a Tilda site via Ecwid widget

A quick way to add your online store to your Tilda site is by using blocks. This way, you can add an entire store or a specific category of products.

To add Ecwid store to your Tilda website:

  1. Open your site editor. If you haven’t yet created a website, click + Create new page and choose a template.
  2. Click More blocks and choose Other.
  3. Scroll down and choose either Ecwid: Online store (Т301) or Ecwid: Products from a category (Т380):

  4. Hover your cursor over the new block and click Content to specify your store ID or ID of your products category:

  5. Enter your store ID and click Save and close. To see the embedded store, click Preview or Publish.

That’s it, your store is added to the Tilda site. Adding new products, tracking orders, changing storefront design, and managing store is available from your Ecwid dashboard.

Adding Ecwid store to a Tilda site via integration code

You can add your online store to your Tilda website using the HTML code.

To add a specific product category, use the Ecwid widget. If you want to sell a specific product on your page, add the Buy Button.

To add your Ecwid online store on your Tilda website:

  1. Open your site editor. If you haven’t yet created a website, click + Create new page and choose a template.
  2. Hover the cursor over the page and click the + sign in the middle of the page.
  3. In the menu on the left, scroll down to the Other section. Click and and choose Embed HTML code:

  4. Hover the cursor over the block and click Content.
  5. Open your Ecwid admin and go to the Overview page.
  6. Scroll down and click Pick Platform → Other platforms and sitebuilders.
  7. Click Copy code to clipboard.
  8. Go back to Tilda website editor and paste the code. Click Save and close.

That’s it, your store is added to the Tilda site. Adding new products, tracking orders, changing storefront design, and managing store is available from your Ecwid dashboard.

Adding Buy Button to your Tilda website

To start selling on your Tilda site, you don't have to add the whole store to the site. Instead, you can add a single product. With Ecwid, you can add that product in the form of a Buy Button. The Buy Button is a product card or just a button that can be added to any page of the site. When a customer clicks on the button, they proceed to checkout.

To add the Buy Button to your Tilda website:

  1. Open your Ecwid admin and go to the Overview page.
  2. Scroll down and click Buy buttons.
  3. Click Pick products and choose a product from your catalog that you want to add to your site.
  4. Choose the button layout and customize its look.
  5. Click Generate Code, then click Copy Code.
  6. Go to your Tilda website editor and choose where you want to add the button.
  7. Hover the cursor over the page and click the + sign in the middle of the page.
  8. In the menu on the left, scroll down to the Other section. Click and and choose Embed HTML code.
  9. Hover the cursor over the block and click Content.
  10. Add the code you copied from your Ecwid admin.
  11. Click Save and close.

That’s it. The product card with your product has been added to the webpage. When a visitor clicks the Buy Button, they will add the product to the cart and proceed to checkout.
