Exporting store data

Export tools in Ecwid allows downloading your products in the form of CSV files. You may want to use this if you need to get your store data in a table format for importing to 3rd party systems or for editing your store products in mass in a spreadsheet, etc. Currently, Ecwid allows the export of orders, products, customers, and gift cards.

Exporting products

  • Open the products listing page in your control panel: Catalog → Products
  • If you need to export all your products, click the 'Export All' button in the bottom of list. It is also possible to export just a part of your inventory matching some criteria - use the filters in the column headers or use the product search field on the top right and then click "Export all found".
  • In the export settings dialog, select delimiter (what is it?) and the columns you want to get in a file and press 'Download CSV file'
  • Save the CSV file on our computer

Exporting orders

  • Open the sales section in your control panel: Sales → Orders
  • Click the 'Export All' button in the bottom of the list or tick the orders you want to export and click 'Export selected'
  • In the export settings dialog, select delimiter (what is it?) and the columns you want to get in a file and press 'Download CSV file'
  • Save the CSV file on our computer

Exporting customers

  • Open the Customers section in your control panel
  • If you need to export all your customers, click the 'Export All' button in the bottom of list. If you want to export just a part of the list matching some criteria - use the filters in the column headers and then click "Export all found". It is also possible to tick the customers you want to export and click 'Export selected'.
  • In the export settings dialog, select delimiter (what is it?) and the columns you want to get in a file and press 'Download CSV file'
  • Save the CSV file on our computer

Exporting gift cards

  • In your Ecwid control panel, go to Catalog → Gift Cards
  • Click View and manage all sold gift cards
  • At the bottom of the page, click Export Data

A CSV file with the data on all the sold gift cards will be downloaded to your computer. 

FAQ

When I export products I see the Product ID column. What is this?

Product ID is a unique global identifier of a product, internal to Ecwid. For example, Ecwid uses it in product URLs. You cannot import a product ID or change it to a value you like. However, you can export it to use, for example, in your 3rd party mods for Ecwid.

How can I automate exporting my store data in a 3rd party application?

You can automate exporting and importing of your store data in a 3rd party applications by means of Ecwid APIs.
