Selling on Bol

Bol is the biggest online marketplace in the Netherlands and Belgium. Adding your brand on Bol will help you reach out to a large number of loyal customers in those countries.

To start selling on Bol, connect your Ecwid online store to Bol with the Koongo app from the Ecwid App Market. The connection process includes creating the Offer, Content, and Remove feeds. After you connect your online store to Bol, your online catalog appears on the marketplace, and shoppers can order your goods directly from Bol.

The app is $24+ per month with a free month trial. The Koongo subscription is paid separately from the Ecwid subscription.

Connecting Ecwid store with Bol via the Koongo app

When you connect your Ecwid online store with Bol, you sync your product catalog so that it appears on the marketplace. At the same time, you sync orders between platforms so that they appear both in your Bol account and in Ecwid. 

To connect your Ecwid store with Bol via the Koongo app:

  1. From your Ecwid admin, go to Apps → App Market.
  2. Find the Koongo app and click Install.
  3. Click Open Koongo account. You will be redirected to your Koongo account.
  4. In the menu on the left, navigate to Marketplaces & Ads and click Add Integration.
  5. Choose Bol.
  6. Choose to list offers and sync orders so that they appear in your Ecwid store.
  7. Click Start Bol Wizard.
  8. In the Marketplace dropdown, select your country. Then click Connect Bol account.
  9. Login to your Bol account and click Continue.
  10. In the Identifiers section, all identifiers will be automatically set up to the correct ones, so click Continue.
  11. In the Price & Delivery section, you can modify your prices, add a shipping fee, and specify how long it takes to deliver orders. Once done, click Continue.
  12. In the Repricer section, you can tailor your repricing strategy. Once done, click Continue.
  13. In the Products section, you can choose what items to list on Bol—the entire catalog or selected items. Once done, click Continue.
  14. In the Attributes section, you can customize your selling offers such as offering bundles. You can skip this setting in the initial setup. Once done, click Continue.
  15. In the Orders section, select how you want your orders to sync. Once done, click Continue.
  16. In the Summary section, check the list of your products that will be synced to Bol. If everything’s correct, click Activate Sync.
In case any errors occur during the syncing process, you will see details in the Health Report section at the top right in your Koongo account. In the section, you will find details about how to fix a particular issue. In case you need more help, contact Koongo support.

That’s it. Now your product catalog will appear on Bol where people can find your brand and purchase it directly from the marketplace.

Processing orders from Bol

When someone buys your product on Bol, a new order will appear in the My sales → Orders section in your Ecwid admin. You will get notification about a new order with an email or a push notification in the Ecwid mobile app for iOS or Android.

Orders are sync between your Ecwid and Bol accounts. That means, when you change the status of an order in your Ecwid admin and/or add a tracking number, this information is sent to Bol. And vice versa. As a result, you can manage the order processing both from Ecwid or Bol admin.

You need to fulfill orders and ship them with the help of Bol or by yourself.
