Sending SMS notifications in Ecwid

You can send order notifications and shipping updates by SMS messages to your customers and yourself when order status changes. SMS notifications have a high conversion rate—SMS messages have a 95% open rate, and most are read within 5 minutes after sending.

You can also use the SMS notification method as a marketing channel to update your customers on special offers, sales, and give discounts. Please note that sending SMS requires a customer consent. You can ask for a customer permission while collecting emails at checkout.

To send SMS notifications in Ecwid, you must use the app from the Ecwid App Market of your choice.
