Connecting Ecwid with Kit

You can connect your Ecwid store with Kit (ex-ConvertKit) so that new customers automatically get to your Kit subscribers' list. This way, you can keep all your customers’ contacts in Kit and communicate with them whenever you need.

You can set up Kit with Zapier, a code-free tool to connect apps. With Zapier, you create a "zap" and select a trigger (when something should happen) and an action (what should happen). This way, you connect Ecwid with Kit to perform together. 

To connect Kit with your Ecwid store:

1. Sign up for an account with Zapier or log in to your existing Zapier account if you already have one.
2. In your Zapier account, click Create and select Zaps.
3. Click Trigger, then select Ecwid by Lightspeed. In the opened menu on the right, click the Trigger event dropdown and select New Customer. 
4. If you're not automatically logged in into your Ecwid account, in the Account dropdown, click Sign In to login to your Ecwid account.
5. Click Action and select Kit. In the opened menu on the right, click the Action dropdown and select the action you want to perform. For example, Add Subscriber to Sequence.
6. If you're not automatically logged in into your Kit account, in the Account dropdown, click Sign In to login.
7. Click Continue.
8. Set up details of your connection and click Continue.
9. Click Test step to check if the right store has been connected and if the right trigger is set up. You can skip this step.
10. Click Publish.

That’s it! Now that the zap is set up and active, new customers that appear in your Ecwid store will be automatically sent to your Kit account.

To edit or disable the zap, go to your Zapier account → Zaps.
