Adding admin notes to order
With the admin notes, you can add comments, instructions, or any special messages to the order. You can specify when to deliver items, what wrapping to use, reasons for refund, or any other information to optimize fulfillment.
Notes are visible only to your store managers and not to your customers.
Plan availability: Business, Unlimited.
To add an admin note to an order:
- From your Ecwid admin, go to My sales → Orders.
- Click on the order.
- Click + Add note.
- Type your comment and click Save.
- From your Ecwid iOS app, go to Orders.
- Tap the order where you want to add an admin note.
- Tap Add Note for Staff.
- Type your comment, then tap Save.
- From your Ecwid Android app, go to Orders.
- Tap the order where you want to add an admin note.
- Tap Add Note for Staff.
- Type your comment, then tap Save.
You can search for orders by these notes to make order processing faster.
Your customers can also leave their comments for the order during checkout.
