Changing order status

Your orders have payment and fulfillment statuses that you can change on the My Sales → Orders page. You can update a status for a single order or in bulk. When you update an order status, your customer automatically receives an email notification with updated order status information.

Changing status for a single order

Before you change the status, remember that there is no “Save” button. So the status will be updated immediately and the customer will receive the notification email.

To change the status of a single order:

  1. From your Ecwid admin, go to My Sales → Orders.
  2. Click on the status dropdown and select a new payment of fulfillment status:


Changing order statuses in bulk

You can mass update your orders by changing their status in your Ecwid admin. That comes in handy when you ship orders in bulk or have a lot of orders out for delivery and want to notify shoppers about their order status.

To change the status of several orders:

  1. From your Ecwid admin, go to My Sales → Orders.
  2. Select several orders and click the Mass update dropdown:


  3. Select Change payment status for selected orders or Change fulfillment status for selected orders.
  4. Select a new status and click Update.
