Accepting payments with Lightspeed Payments

After you enable Lightspeed Payments in your Ecwid store, your customers will be able to choose this payment option at the checkout.

As soon as they choose Lightspeed Payments as the payment option, they will have to fill in their credit or debit card information and specify their billing address. The Billing address section will be prefilled with a customer’s shipping address:

Billing address specifying is a requirement of Lightspeed Payment to prevent fraud and chargeback. With a billing address, a payment gateway can verify whether it matches the data from the card-issuing bank. In case there is a 100% fraud transaction, Lightspeed Payments will prevent a fraudster from buying in your store.

If a customer wants to make a refund, contact our support team to help you proceed with refunding.
