Deleting orders
Besides refunding or canceling an order, you can also delete it from your store. Thus, the info about this order will be permanently removed from your Ecwid control panel and from сustomer accounts. You may want to delete test orders or cancelled orders so that they didn’t mess up your store statistics.
To delete an order in your Ecwid store:
- From your Ecwid admin, go to My Sales → Orders.
- Tick the orders that you want to delete.
- Click Mass Update (this button will appear only after you tick at least one order) and Delete Selected:
- In the appeared pop-up, confirm that you want to delete the order by clicking Delete.
- Open your mobile app and go to Orders.
- Click on the order that you want to delete.
- In the right upper corner, click Edit:
- Scroll down and click Delete Order.
- In the appeared pop-up, confirm that you want to delete the order by clicking Delete.
- Open your mobile app and go to Orders.
- Click on the order that you want to delete.
- In the right upper corner, click on the pencil icon:
- Scroll down and click Delete order.
- In the appeared pop-up, confirm that you want to delete the order by clicking Delete.
Selected orders will be removed from your Ecwid admin and from сustomer accounts permanently, and their numbers won't be reused. For example, if you delete order #3, in your Ecwid admin you will see the orders #: 1,2,4,5 etc.
If you accidentally delete orders that you need, contact support to restore them for you.
